Electrical Contractor Telecom Kit I includes a TS®30 Test Set w/ Angled Bed-of-Nails Cord, D814 Impact Tool, EverSharp 66/110 Cut Blade, Electrician's D-Snips, Cable Stripper, Standard 4-Wire Modular Adapter and Probe Pic.

The Fluke Networks TS19 Test Set combines all the essential test set features at an affordable price. This test set was specifically designed for in-house telecom technicians. Overview

The TS22 Test Set’s unique built-in one-way amplified speaker provides three audio levels for hands-free listening and use with automated voice response systems. Multiple memories enable storage of nine 18 digit telephone numbers in repertory dialer (speed dialing) for easy access to test boards, the central office and other frequently called numbers. The last number redial feature eliminates the need to re-key your last entry. The TS22 Test Set offers an unbeatable combination of reliability, durability and expanded utility.

The TS22A Test Set is equipped with all the features of the TS22 Test Set with the addition of a built in two-way speakerphone. The two-way speakerphone enables the user to operate hands free. The effect of ambient noise can be eliminated with the Mute switch, allowing the technician to monitor a line uninterrupted while in Talk mode. A standard among field professionals, the TS22A model is a reliable and durable test set that is ready for any job.

* The TS22 Series Test Set contains an embedded 3-volt lithium battery.  The 9-volt battery in the Test Set should be changed when low, or once a year if not in use, to prevent the 3-volt battery from draining.  A 3-volt battery that drains after its 42-month warranty will need to be replaced by an authorized service facility at a charge to you.

* Note also that your speakerphone will no longer work when your 9-volt battery is low or dead.  You should replace the 9-volt battery whenever it is low.

Fluke Networks in-line banjo modular adapters allow you to easily complete testing and obtain circuit access on working lines without disrupting service. Each adapter has a number of advantages including angled copper contacts that prevent alligator clips from coming off during testing, small holes in each contact for easy probe insertion, and clear circuit markings on the sides and bottom of the unit.

Punch Down and Termination Tools: Can Wrenches

Our can wrenches allow universal access to telephone boxes and pedestals.

Overview

The can wrenches feature color-coded socket ends and built-in ribs on the barrel for user comfort, safety, and greater torque power. The two hex head sockets (7/16 inch and 3/8 inch) have reduced outside diameters that fit all new network interface devices. The 7/16 inch is black oxidized to easily distinguish it from the 3/8 inch zinc-plated socket end. 

Separate models of the can wrench are available with wire strippers built into the barrel. The stripper head has two slots with one slot for the outside jacket of a 4-wire "quad", and the other slot for individual conductors (22-gauge model or 24-gauge model).

Fluke Networks offers a variety of cable strippers and cutters for coaxial cables, UTP/STP telephone and data cables and other flexible cables.  Telephone installers use the double-slotted cable stripper for 22/24 AWG wire installation.  Use our coax stripper to perform 2-level and 3-level stripping of RG58/59 coaxial cables.

Overview

VFLs work well for exposed lengths of fiber near a patch panel by illuminating bad connections and breaks. They are not very helpful for cable runs more than a few meters, or when the cable not visible or accessible, or when the laser light can’t penetrate the jacket.

Optical Time Domain Reflectometers (OTDR) provides graphical data and analysis along the entire length of a cable, way beyond the reach of a VFL, but they can be expensive and require more time to and skill to operate.
